The EL&MI Group owns nine mini hydroelectric plants (MHPs) across the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The Rekovići hydroelectric plant, with an installed capacity of 7.9 MW, stands as our crown jewel investment in this sector.
THE IMPORTANCE OF MINI HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS
In today’s world, where the search for alternative, sustainable energy sources that do no harm to the planet is paramount, mini hydroelectric plants represent a true revolution. Unlike large hydroelectric plants, mini hydro plants have a smaller or minimal impact on the environment while enabling local communities to achieve energy independence and generate additional revenue.
